Pullman

This is the most time we have spent in Pullman at one time and we are making the most of it. We have had some sunny days, but today was foggy and much colder. Walks, runs, manicures, the science discovery museum, and more have kept us busy.

Cougar Country

To answer T-man's question, "why is there so much Coug stuff everywhere?" - it's because we are in Cougar Country. And we spent the afternoon exploring it. 

We went to Cougar Country for lunch, hit Ferdinand's to buy some cheese and get delicious ice cream, and then walked around the WSU campus. We checked out The Bookie, the Physical Education Buildings with the pools and gyms and then got down on the field at Martin Stadium.  What a special treat!

What a fun night at the Coug basketball game. We got to the Coliseum early to get pictures with the "Crimson Girls" and with "Butch." The Cougs had a convincing win and T-man got on the jumbo-tron 2 times and got a t-shirt! 

A great way to wrap up the day after swimming and chilling out.

After a very late flight on Sunday night, we stayed at an airport hotel and then spent a bit of time in downtown Spokane and had a nice lunch at the Onion. It was a nice start to our vacation.

Early morning trip to Lakewood to watch D-man win the final two games of his tournament. After a victory last night, they were seated 3rd and crushed two teams from Highlands Ranch today. It was fun to see the boys playing together better and "gelling" as a team.

Birthday Brewery Beers

A sunshine-filled Sunday was a perfect setting for a birthday outing. While our hiking plans were spoiled because the trail was closed, friends ended up joining us at the Avery Brewery in Boulder for lunch and beers. The kids played washers and threw snowballs, we enjoyed the sunshine and trying some new beers.

Fall Festival

T-man and I went to the fall festival at the school while Marshall and D-man were at basketball. Always a fun community school event.

Marshall celebrated his Friday the 13th birthday watching 6th grade basketball. Given our busy schedule, I guess that is what happens. We were able to give him some gifts in the morning before work and school and the celebrate with a few more gifts and cheesecake after the Friday evening activities. Unfortunately, the Buffs could not bring home a victory for his birthday.

The football season wrapped up with the banquet tonight. It's a great group of boys and families. For all the challenges we have with D-man playing football, he loves it, the coaches really care about be kids, and we have met some great friends.

Bowling Birthday

We helped Marshall's old college roommate throw a surprise birthday for his girlfriend at Lucky Strike in downtown Denver. We pulled it off just in time for me to watch the Huskers pull off their victory.  It was a fun night (even though our bowling was not good at all).
