Christmas at Tappan

Marshall sent D-man and entire set up for a Christmas tree in his dorm room - tree lights; coasters for ornaments and a Miami ornament. He also sent a little Lego Santa. 🎅 And it looks great! 

Gene’s Christmas

When shopping at Cubby’s with Marshall while in Pender, I randomly stopped to look at the the fliers and saw a sign for a Christmas display outside of Ponca. It ended up being only a 7 minute drive from our cabin so we took a group and what a unique experience. The original group came back and convinced the others to go. 

Gene has been doing this for 25 years and won a TV competition. I think we can safely say that we have never experienced anything like it. 

Ponca State Park

The end of our Nebraska Thanksgiving was spent at Ponca State Park. We had a fun time there this summer and decided to try it out in the winter time. The weather certainly agreed with time outside which helped to spread out the group and provided the ability to partake in some different activities. We kept busy with the usual holiday activities - watching sports, playing games and eating too much. However, we also did sling shot, hiking, treats at the soda fountain, played Kanjam and checked out the river and the 3-state viewpoint. 

It was a wonderful trip (even though many were skeptic).
