Fork loads of Fun in Norfolk

With Jaima’s family off in Grant and my company closed for the week, the boys and I ventured to Norfolk on the 3rd. Pop had planned tot and them to Rosie’s for breakfast, but it was closed in the 3rd. Instead, we cooked up breakfast before we left which was fun. 

We hit another disc golf course (Tanner is obsessed right now) at Masketine State Recreational area. It was a nice course that had some bike trails running through it. As Drake said, we spent a lot of time “looking at grass” as we threw the disc in the long grass quite a bit. We lost a disc, but found 2 so we came up positive. It got quite hot so we were happy to head to Norfolk to cool down at the water park. We lasted longer than I thought we would riding the waves, cruising down the slides, jumping off the high dive and shooting some water basketball hoops. The boys certainly do more together when we aren’t in Colorado so it has been great to have them taking in so many activities. 

They also have been helping Nana and Pop throughout the week with various yard and house chores. Drake said he now has an appreciation for how much work their yard and garden take.
