Couples Scramble

A summer-like evening for the final couples scramble of the year. While it didn’t go quite as planned, we had a fun time and walked away with a victory.

Friday Night Lights

T-man’s flag football team - they have one big team and split up every week. This week they played each other.  Six a good group of boys!

The middle school football season came to an end this week. It hasn’t been T-man’s favorite activity, but he persevered and was rewarded with his efforts with four touchdowns and an interception during the culminating event. Go Mustangs!

MPV is my MVP

Whenever I see one of these cars..... 

I think of my MPV and how fortunate I am to have him in my life. Lots shaking down at work this week and he is nothing but supportive and amazing. 

Came home around 6 and dinner was all completed - even though Marshall isn’t even eating dinner with us. 

Definitely an MVP move. 

 

Labor Day in Breckenridge

Summer is officially over now that Labor Day is behind us. The summer of travel is done - I only spent 2 full weekends at home between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Wow. 

The kids headed up to Breckenridge Friday after school with friends and we drove up after the wedding later that night. 

It was a relaxing weekend with some outings and lots of chill time. We had some time in town, did a small hike, and spent time up on Peak 7 taking advantage of the Wright’s timeshare. We celebrated Alana’s birthday. Marshall and D-man golfed 9 holes and I road up with Paul and Alana to find some fall colors. We had a fierce Euchre tournament that the “teen titans” (aka D-man and the daughter of one of our friends) almost won. We all enjoyed time in the hot tub and just being on vacation. And fortunately, the traffic wasn’t as bad as we thought on the way home. Win!!

Wedding Celebration

Nothing like a wedding and a good party to kick off the Labor Day weekend. It was a lovely evening celebrating Darin and Molly at Raccoon Creek. There was beautiful weather, a perfect venue and a nice time catching up with lots of friends. It makes me want to throw a good party to celebrate how lucky I am to have Marshall in my life.
