Mom's Weekend #2

Time with Drake in Oxford was special again this year. Some of the same and some different activities. Baseball instead of hockey. Pickle and Pig and Basil 1791 for dinners. Same Yahtzee battles. Same rain. Hueston Woods instead of the local hiking trails. Travel to Hamilton vs. staying in Oxford. Same quality down time. Different bars. Same Airbnb. Different memories. Same difficulty leaving after such a nice weekend. Same grateful heart for one on one time. 

And it Begins

 A chilly start to the Ultimate season for MOHI, but good to get a game under their belt. The team did not come away with a victory, but Tanner was in good spirits and played well Marshall said. 

Vegas Baby

On Sunday, we enjoyed more sights and sounds of Vegas. we slept in, hung at the pool, saw the Sphere exhibit, ate an amazing meal at Tao, walked around the north part of the strip, and lost money at Pai Gow. Monday brought more pool time and a quick walk to the strip to play video poker.

Vegas is such a crazy place and we love it. Looking forward to the next trip!

Go Manly!

We were fortunate to head to Vegas with the Wrights for a new adventure watching NRL live in Allegiant stadium. Paul's team was one of the four teams playing and they pulled out a victory. There were tons of Australian fans in sin city and we were able to see former players, mascots, etc. 

We started Friday night at Resorts World for drinks and some Pai Gow Poker. Paul was sporting his Manly gear and was spotted by a Manly legend - a great start to the weekend. 

We woke up late and ate breakfast at the condo before heading out to a Manly pre party at the Hard Rock Cafe. We worked our way through the south strip casinos and made our (windy) way to Allegiant Stadium for the game. 

We enjoyed watching the double header and making friends with the fans around us. We then walked over to NYNY for pai gow poker and some fun tunes. What a memorable day with our good friends.

 It was a great week in Denver for the Snapdocs company kick off. This year's event was held in Lodo near Coors Field which was a welcome change from the event in uptown last year. The sessions were great. The energy was high. The social events were fun. And the after parties were dive bar specialities. 

I feel very fortunate to have a great team and still enjoy the work I do. We've got some big goals ahead, but I'm excited to tackle them. Who knew mortgage could be so fun?
