Denver Outlaws

A family outing to see the Denver Outlaws lacrosse team defeat the Atlanta Blaze. A family pack that included tickets, hot dogs and drinks (beer and soda) was just perfect.

Louisville Street Faire

While the boys bonded at home over pizza and AGT, we headed to downtown Louisville for dinner and to listen to Samantha Fish at the Street Faire. It was a cool evening with good music, good laughs, and great friends. We wrapped up with drinks at the neighbor's fire pit before heading home. 

Water Park Fun

We stayed an extra day in Nebraska so we could go to the water park in Norfolk. Jaima and I had a great time with the kids. And the extra day also meant - girls' night out with my sis!

Welcome to My House

A longer than expected drive due to an I80 closure, but the boys were rock star travels (again). Thankful for an air conditioned ride in the 100 degree heat. We pulled into the driveway to the song "My House" which is pretty appropriate. So thankful for another 2 weeks with family.

Family Day

With Marshall and I both on vacation today, we took the opportunity for a couple little outings. We headed out to Twin Creeks for 5 holes of golf. We did the very (not) typical 1, 2, 5, 8, 9 loop. 

Then we headed to Norfolk for the water park, but given the clouds and D-man likely running a fever, we ended up at the movies, grabbed Runza and then got the boys some new shoes from Shopko. 

It was a nice outing and I'm guessing a nice break for Nana and Pop. 

Midwestern Fourth of July

A couple wonderful 4th of July celebration in the Pender. There really is nothing like celebrating Independence Day in the Midwest. Definitely cooler weather than normal which is always welcome. Happy 4th of July everyone!

College World Series Championship Game

Rain delay on Wednesday means day game on Thursday.  Thanks to Nana for taking D-man and the Geisert kids to the final game of the CWS. Coastal Carolina won 4-3 in an exciting finish. Being at a championship game is BEYOND exciting for D-man. What a busy and memorable week!
