Middle School Dance

After a one year hiatus, the middle school dance is back. I love how excited T-man and his friends were to go. We packed his nice shirt which he actually wore.  At dinner he said his cherry was the dance. 😊

I don’t know what he did, but he did take a pic at the photo booth had some pizza, a Dr. Pepper and some candy. How fast the time goes.....

Busy Boy

Wednesday was a busy night for T-man. He had his middle school basketball scrimmage in Broomfield and then had to head to Boulder for a soccer scrimmage. As we left soccer practice, I made a comment about the coach being a good guy and without skipping a beat T-man said, “I love Carlos.” ❤️❤️

It’s a Costco Kind of Night

After standing in the pouring rain in 40 degree weather watching flag football, we did not feel like trying to do takeout. As we pulled out a variety of food from the deep freeze (all from Costco), Marshall stayed it was a Costco kind of night. Apparently so.

Bowling Night

A fun outing with the Wright family on Saturday night for bowling, games and a bit of adulting. 

We played a couple games of bowling (D-man bowled left handed and beat me the first game and Marshall had two awesome games). After bowling, the kids headed up to glow in the dark mini golf and hit the arcade while the adults headed to another restaurant for dinner and drinks. Yay!

Soccer Success

After freezing our butts off at Friday night flag football, we enjoyed beautiful weather for the Saturday afternoon soccer game. The boys are playing much better together and had a goal in the final couple of minutes to end in a tie which is a step in the right direction. The best thing is that T-man is really enjoying playing on this club.

It’s my second Dreamforce and it is a crazy week. The brand experience and the scale (170,000 attendees with 2700+ sessions) is incredible. I spoke two times this year as our session was so popular and we got good reviews last year. I’ve also been able to attend some sessions related to my new role and have some in as well. 

We host our party tonight and hope tomorrow.

Fulford

After Marshall and D-man returned from urgent care, we headed to a little party up in Fulford up outside of Eagle. It was a pretty drive and it was fun to just hang out, mess around, and enjoy the gorgeous day (without cell service). Fun outing to see a part of Colorado we hadn’t seen before - D-man mentioned he didn’t feel like Colorado. It definitely felt remote. Warning - lots of pics 😊

Well, we are at the Smileys so that of course that means a trip to urgent care. D-man tripped on the track in PE yesterday trying to catch the frisbee in ultimate frisbee. We didn’t even know he was hurt until this morning and Marshall came up and said he was taking D-man to urgent care. Diagnosis is a buckle fracture and a cast for 4-6 weeks. We will see an ortho when we get back home.
