A Sleepy Day

Dad has been sleeping all day. One must be pretty tired to do that in a noisy hospital. We've had a couple of questions about the cheer cards you can send through the hospital so I've posted the link again here today. We so enjoyed reading all the cards we have already received.

Mom saw Dr. Durward this afternoon and he plans to replace the current shunt with a new temporary shunt. They believe the current shunt may be causing the fevers that Dad is having in the afternoon/evenings. The new shunt will be in for at least a week and it looks like he'll be in this room for another week.

A couple of fun updates from last night.

• Mom and Jacki checked on Dad last night and Dad knew how long he and Mom had been married and told Mom that she is "the most wonderful woman in the world".
