Sunday was a snowy day and 50% of the Peavy family did get dressed. Marshall made us a nice breakfast and ran errands and I got a good deal of “tasks” done around the house to feel a bit more organized. 

While I was picking up in the basement, the boys found Mastermind (D-man called it the “original Wordle”) and played a bit. T-man found “Skylanders” and has ended up playing that so he can master the game again. We ended up pulling out Pling Pong and had a few family games which has been fun. 

As a family that loves to travel and be “gone,” the last two years (and especially the last two months) had taught me the importance of “home.” It has been our refuge and place of so many memories (challenging and wonderful) over the past several years. I know how fortunate we are to live where we live and have what we have, but the stark reality of many who don’t have this right now is a constant reminder of our privilege. And as our eldest gets ready to head to college, time at home with all four of us becomes even more precious.
