While we were in Winter Park, it snowed almost continuously for three days. The mountain clicked 29 inches in 72 hours - all while we were there. That meant we were skiing while it was snowing every day except Tuesday and even then, there were snow showers.
On Monday, we were skiing in knee deep powder on blue runs after 1:00 in the afternoon. And on Tuesday, we were skiing in thigh high powder off of the Panoramic lift as it was closed all day Monday. It was absolutely incredible.
We skied for about three hours each day and got in some amazing runs each day. It is not often you are going down the slopes and just hear people giggling as they go down the slopes. It is also not often you are the only one on the run and taking it all in.
The drive home was quick and easy - what a treat! The extra day off really made this feel like an extended vacation and to wrap it up having Tanner encourage me to make my own tracks is something I won't soon forget.
