We were up and at 'em to get checked in for the "Becoming a Hawkeye" orientation on Tuesday. We enjoyed the conference style event and talked to a variety of attendees and grabbed a quick breakfast. We listened to speakers, heard the fight song and learned a few things.
They split the parents and the students up for lunch and the afternoon sessions and Tanner was with the engineering crew. After signing Herky, we bought some Hawkeye gear before a final walk through campus and kicking up Tanner's Hawk ID.
It was a quick trip and our flight was delayed, but I'm glad we got on campus again before this becomes home for Tanner for the next 4 years.
