Transitioning from Summer to Fall

While you could feel fall in the air in the mornings this weekend, it was decidedly still summer today. On Saturday, we partook in some fall football watching, and a trip to the park with T-man while D-man was at a play date!

Today was filled with a trip with Marshall to the turf football field within walking distance from the apartment and then D-man's first Lacrosse practice at the YMCA. Later in the afternoon, T-man headed to his first reading buddies meeting at the library in downtown Louisville. He was scared, but of course, is requesting to go back tomorrow (he doesn't want to wait until next Sunday). I enjoyed being outside during the lacrosse practice and the library trip. A trip to the pool (with some wine) to squeeze in the last bits of summer is a special treat.

Even though everything is still temporary, I know this community is going to be a great place to be.
