D-man had a great LAX game on Monday even though the team ended up losing 4-3. He was able to play both defense and long stick middie. With spring break kicking off, they needed players for the JV game today and they asked D-man to play. It was a great example of showing up well and working hard and being recognized for it. So great news that he got called up and got in for a quarter+, but bad news is Monarch won 12-0 and there was not one shot on goal (so the defense didn’t really play all game).
The game was way down south so we took the long way home past our old house and ran into an old neighbor. It is hard to believe we were in the house for 9 years - 3 more than our current house. D-man is driving us home now. Hello spring break.
