And We Toast

We were fortunate to be with our best friends to ring in the new year and have each other to process all of what is going on in our world right now together. 

The Wrights and Marshall went to Louisville on NYE’s to get eyes on our houses and pick up a few things. We cooked what we brought from home and ring in the new year with champagne, sparkling cider and playing “Quelf.” There were many laughs during the game which was sorely needed. 

It will go down as one of the most bittersweet New Year’s celebrations of our lives, but we are joyful for what we have and ready for the long haul that 2022 will be.
