We kicked off the 3-day weekend with a relaxing day at home with Drake. Given it was a cool, cloudy day, it was a cozy day to spend indoors. Tanner was off at grad parties all day (although we did squeeze in game of euchre in the afternoon). Marshall worked to perfect espresso in the morning and we enjoyed some breakfast. There was F1 qualifying watching, as well as cheering on Miami baseball (win), Husker softball (loss) and Husker baseball (win).
We took a break between sporting events to go hiking above Boulder on a cool day for a Memorial Day weekend. The rain moved in later in the evening, but it was simply overcast during the hike.
While watching Husker baseball, we had some snacks and enjoyed playing several hands of three-handed cribbage. We headed to downtown Louisville around 8:00 for dinner at Waterloo and then headed to Nora's (the speakeasy downtown) for a cocktail. How nice it is to have Drake here for a few weeks before he heads to Chicago.
