It worked out well to have Tanner open his gifts and cards with Nana, Gramma, Pop (when he was awake), Marshall and me after work on Monday. We sat in the family room and Tanner got to read many wonderful things and well wishes for him on his next journey at Iowa. He was appropriately showered with generous gifts and it was fun to be able to do it surrounded by family who can truly appreciate what a wonderful young man he is.
