Senior Prom

I was picking up a blue bow tie for the tux at Dillard’s and the woman helping me ask if it was his first or last prom. I replied with, “his only!” And, I’m so glad that he got to have one. 

While it was a bit of a whirlwind week figuring out the clothing and also managing logistics, it was a great weekend. 

D-man attended his girlfriend’s after prom on Friday night and he won a $1000 gift card which he gave to his girlfriend. He then had lacrosse practice on Saturday morning before heading to work out with his friend. He then got ready and we headed to the Omni for pictures before he headed to Denver for dinner and prom at the Wings Over the Rockies museum. 

It was certainly a mini town reunion with so many families we know there to take pictures. So thankful for this village and this resilient community and this experience for this kids.
