The Karlen family is fortunate to have so many friends that are family. Steve stepped up and picked me up from the airport and picked up Mom from the hospital with me. Marian was up for Mom's award and was able give me a ride to the airport today.
Alisha Maul happened to be back for spring break so we had a nice happy hour on Tuesday night with the Karlen, Maul and Munderloh clan. How amazing we could all be together.
