Day 3 - motor to Caneal bay (honeymoon beach) on St. John’s. caught a fish. Caught a hat, went to beach. Drinks in beach. Snorkel with drake. Tanner sand castle. Sail to maho bay. Happy hour, snorkeling, seeing turtles. Salmon dinner. Euchre and rummy cube.
On day three, we motored over to the island of St. John. The boys caught a fish (they said only 20-30% of boats catch fish) so definitely a win and the boys super excited.
We stopped at Honeymoon Beach in Caneal Bay. It was a beautiful beach with very few people on it. We had drinks, chilled on the beach, I did some snorkeling with D-man and T-man played in the sand. A relaxing stop.
We then got back on boat and had tuna ceviche for lunch and sailed to Maho Bay for the night. We got in too late for the beach bar, but had drinks on board. D-man and I snorkeled to shore and Dave and Rachel saw turtles. Boys enjoyed jumping off boat.
We enjoyed a salmon dinner and played euchre and rummy cube. A really idyllic spot. And because we were in the National Park (much of the park is underwater), we could not turn on the underwater lights. There were only a couple houses within view. Wow.
