College Bound

After a crazy day (window covering being installed and learning that 10% of the Snapdocs workforce was being laid off), D-man was able to pick up Nana and Pop from the airport. We were able to chat for a bit and then D-man wanted to go to Sweet Cow with Nana and Pop. While we had grand intentions of getting on the road at 3:30, D-man was in no hurry and we finally got out of Louisville at 4:30 after getting gas, stopping at the golf course and picking up (another) prescription for D-man. 

We stopped in Burlington, Colorado for Arby’s and to check out the historic Kit Carson Carousel and then D-man got to tick Kansas off his state list. We then stopped at the world’s largest easel in Goodland, Kansas before making it to Salina around midnight. We played the Hotwire hotel lottery and lost, but we survived. We will call our first stage a success.
